What is Rosin?

Unlike Live Resin, Rosin is completely solventless and is extracted by using heat and pressure. There are a few different types of Rosin, such as Live Rosin or Hash Rosin; all are made the same way, just with different contents. Typically, Rosin is made from flower, shake or trim; while Live Rosin is made with frozen plants and Hash Rosin with bubble or dry hash. Rosin is a full-spectrum concentrate and tends to be more flavorful, pure and terpene rich versus others that use butane and solvents, which make it a very popular choice. When looking for a great Rosin, typically keep an eye out for a “clean” look, being lighter then Live Resin or a tan color. The smell and taste should also be very flavorful. Ask a budtender which Rosin is right for you!

How to Consume

Rosin can be used as a way to bring instant relief or if you prefer a quicker onset of effects. It is typically for individuals who love to dab, or just like a high terpene profile! But there are more ways to enjoy this concentrate. First, you will need a dabbing tool in order to handle most concentrates. If dabbing is your style or you always wanted to try this method, a rig and torch will be needed to consume. You may also want to try placing the Rosin in a dab pen, which is essentially a vape rig. Some great brands we recommend are Dazed, Gas Station, or Strait Fire! Rolling it up with your flower to add that extra “kick” is also a method people love, but experiment first before trying this method. Lastly, there are many different disposable vapes that provide a lot more convenience.
